The Radius from Pyzel is the latest from the brands high-performance range, taking the design of their popular model; 'The Bastard' (John John Florence's go-to board during his run at the World Title in 2016) and refining the details. Popular with John John and fellow rider Jordy Smith who was elected to experiment with a selection of blanks provided by the biggest shapers to determine the best high performance surfboard in the 2017 Stab in the Dark Contest. Smith chose The Radius as the best board of 2017!

Designed to be used in better than average conditions, the board should be ridden fast and loose with the medium/high bottom rocker allowing for easy turning and the single concave providing lift and drive with the gentle hip in the outline keeps it lively and sharp, while adding drive. The carbon tail reinforcement provides lightweight protection in the high impact area of the tail without compromising on performance.

"I blended a couple of boards together [to make the Radius], I thought that maybe I can take the best aspects of two different designs and put them together...It's for better waves, not great waves, it works in a lot of conditions but it definitely isn't a groveler board." – Jon Pyzel

The Radius is not ideal for beginners, this board is lively and sharp and will elevate an intermediate rider's surfing to the next level. All boards come standard with a clear, sand-finish, 3 boxes/plugs, and standard 4/4+4 poly glassing.
