Inspired by the iconic Mini Simmons boards of the 1960s, the Slice is a retro surfboard brought right up to date. The full outline provides the maximal surface area and lift for a board its size while keeping the nose and tail widths full. The squashed tail shape with hard corners acts like release points for the rail line. The bottom shape features a super low rocker line, refined hull nose shape flowing back into double concave with slight V in the tail. The rails are thin and boxy, with sharp bottom edges in the tail to modern soft performance rails at the midpoint lifting to a high rail towards the nose enhancing that hull bottom shape.

The Slices retro credentials are enhanced by its stand out Volan cut glass laminating job. This traditional 6oz cloth has a distinctive light green tinge which adds authenticity to this now ageless shape.

This surfboard is going to slide across the water, moving your weight forward to glide across the flat spots and step back to put in your arcing turns. The Slice comes out of the box with a set of FCS II Quad fins, set up with big fin forward with the small fin behind or the other way around, or just the big or small fin in either position. You will have lots of different fin positions and combinations to play with.

The Slice is a whole new surfing and learning experience, on a board that is going to turn heads.
